Which was easy to do since my dad Todd owns and operates his own guide service. He has been in the hunting business for 20 years. So I’m far from new to the hunting business. I have been in the middle of the operation of his business since the start. Filling feeders, picking up and dropping off hunters, tracking deer, skinning deer, and a lot of late nights watching and listening to dad and the hunters strategize how to kill that giant Kansas Whitetail. We still work side by side nearly every day helping each other.

Joy grew up on a multigenerational family sheep farm in Waikaka (Southland) New Zealand where her love for the outdoors and wildlife started and now living in central Otago, this love has grown into a passion. Joy developed a keen interest in hunting at a young age while out shooting with her father and brothers to provide food for their large family of 10 and has spent much of her years hunting pigs and deer in the outback of Australia. Now back in New Zealand, Joy enjoys time with her husband and two young boys collecting kai - whether that’s foothill hunting, fishing, diving or catching yabbies. Not only is Joy a full time Mum and manager of NZTH, but she also does night shifts for St. John’s ambulance as a first responder where she has a certification in emergency management. Nowadays its extremely hard for the common hunter to find a place to hunt or to afford hunting with an outfitter. This has become a major concern with us because we are common hunters! We feel blessed with the opportunities we've been given and would love to share the awesome experience of the great outdoors with others around the country. I am a Plant and Soil Science Major at Arkansas State University, I am currently still in school. I am an avid land manager and enjoy developing land for recreational hunting use. Currently manage multiple properties from AR to MS. I also am an avid angler and spend many days on the water. Between school, land management and duck and Goose season I stay pretty busy!
