Wilderness/Backcountry Mule Deer Hunt

1-2 Guests • Drop Camp • Public • Guided

Description

5 or 7-day Archery, Rifle or Muzzleloader Hunts

Mule Deer

Our Mule Deer hunts take place in units 2b, 2c, 16, 22 and 23. Our success rates on mule deer are 80% on bucks scoring 150”-190”. These units all have the potential for 190”-200”+ bucks. Extensive glassing and putting yourself in areas that produce giant bucks will increase your odds in harvesting a 180” buck or better.

For the elite sportsman!

For the elite sportsman! Do you want an experience of a lifetime deer hunt? Are you the outdoorsman who wants to push your capabilities to the limit? Our backcountry hunts begin with packing you deep into the wilderness where only horses are permitted for travel. Our horseback string will be led by our professional wrangler and experienced backcountry guides. Camp will consist of wall tents, a cook tent, a full-time wrangler, and cook. There you will be sleeping in the middle of prime deer country where trophy deer are plentiful. Horses will be on standby for access and meat retrieval.

These hunts take more resources to conduct(horses, wranglers, cook and professional guide) but also have a super high success rate for 165-180+ bucks due to the fact that you will be hunting in areas where deer grow to their full potential. Being in good or great physical condition is a must!

Professional Guides

We offer 2:1 or 1:1 Guided hunts. Our Mule Deer hunts take place in the one and only Gila and Apache National Forests of Southwestern New Mexico. Our many years of hunting experience in these areas, along with awesome genetics have enabled our clients to consistently enjoy exceptional success rates on World-Class animals. In our opinion, this is the finest public land hunting in the world, as record books will verify.
