Rules & Guidelines

All state licensing required.

Please note, there is a 50% nonrefundable deposit included with your payment when booking.

Licenses – Annual KS Hunting License, Kansas HIP, KS Waterfowl Stamp and Federal Waterfowl Stamp required. Kansas portions available at ksoutddors.com under licenses. We HIGHLY encourage hunters to get licenses ASAP to avoid any possible interruptions in sales due to COVID. Federal Waterfowl Stamps are available at the Post Office or Wal-Mart across the country.

Items to Bring:

Waders preferred or rubber knee boots minimum

Shotgun

Ammo: We suggest #2 steel or #4 Bismuth for mixed duck and goose hunting. Between 6 and 10 boxes. We will have ammo available for purchase also if extra is needed.

Clothing: Kansas weather in January could range from 65 and sunny to negative temperatures with 30 mph winds. Prepare for a wide spectrum of weather conditions with plenty of layers, gloves, face masks and insulated socks/boots

Miscellaneous: A blind bag/backpack, headlamp, face mask

Dogs: We ENCOURAGE hunters to bring personal dogs. Remember though, the quality of the hunt for the ENTIRE group is our priority. If we ask that a dog be put up on a hunt, it is not personal but only looking out for the good of the group.

Dogs can stay at the lodge but will need to be crated when not directly supervised.
