Ammo: We suggest #2 steel or #4 Bismuth for mixed duck and goose hunting. Between 6 and 10 boxes. We will have ammo available for purchase also if extra is needed.
Clothing: Kansas weather in January could range from 65 and sunny to negative temperatures with 30 mph winds. Prepare for a wide spectrum of weather conditions with plenty of layers:
- Insulated Boots
- Thermal Socks
- Warm wool or fleece base layers
- Waterproof/Windproof outer layers
- Gloves
- Face Mask
- House Shoes (no boots inside the lodge)
Dogs: We ENCOURAGE hunters to bring personal dogs. Remember though, the quality of the hunt for the ENTIRE group is our priority. If we ask that a dog be put up on a hunt, it is not personal but only looking out for the good of the group. Dogs can stay at the lodge but will need to be crated when not directly supervised.
Travel Info: Nearby Airport is Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita Kansas (ICT). From the airport to the lodge is approximately a 45-minute drive.
