Brandon's Trip

Brandon M

I cut my teeth hunting waterfowl in the many potholes of North Dakota. Later in life, I started guiding snow goose hunts in South Dakota and Arkansas. One thing led to another and my passion took me to Saint Paul Island, Alaska. There I guided King Eider hunts along with other trophy sea ducks. With that valuable experience under my belt, I started my own outfitter.

Rules & Guidelines

CAMO OR TAN/BROWN CLOTHING

North Dakota weather can be highly unpredictable. We recommend bringing extra clothing suited for winter conditions (heavy jacket, bibs, beanie, gloves, baselayers, etc.)

WATERPROOF BOOTS/WADERS

Depending upon the time of year waders may be needed. For hunts later in the year, Artic Pro Muck boots or other heavily insulated boots work great along with wool socks.

SHOTGUN AND AMMUNITION

Non-toxic shot is required. If hunting late-season geese premium ammunition such as Boss Shotshells or other bismuth loads are recommended (2 3/4" or 3" #3 to #5 shot bismuth works extremely well on both mallards and geese. 3" or 3 1/2" #2 shot or bigger for geese if using steel)

HUNTING LICENSE/WATERFOWL STAMP

Hunting licenses can be purchased at the North Dakota Game and Fish website. Please call for questions regarding zones.

BLIND BAG

This is an essential piece of gear to keep all of your items organized throughout the hunt (snacks, drinks, shells, calls, etc.)

HAND/FOOT WARMERS

We want you to have an unforgettable experience, don't let your hunt be ruined by cold feet or hands!

LARGE COOLERS

All birds will be tagged and sent home with you, be sure to have adequate storage.
