Prairie Dog Hunting in the South Dakota Badlands

We provide access to some of the best-guided prairie dog hunting in South Dakota. We have access to prairie dog towns on both state and tribal land. Avid prairie dog hunters will not be disappointed in this hunt and are sure to leave with a smile on their faces.

All of our prairie dog hunts are guided. We will provide you with shooting bags and rests to make your South Dakota hunting experience more comfortable. We will set up on the edge of a prairie dog town or up on a hill and you will be able to shoot for hours.

Most hunters will shoot between 300 and 400 rounds per day with more definitely possible! If the prairie dogs get scarce, we will just move to a better spot or another town.

With so much land available to us, we will put you in the prime areas throughout the prairie dog season. You will get plenty of close shooting, but this hunt is also great for those hunters that like to test their range. With wide open spaces and plenty of prairie dog towns, this is the perfect trip for guys who want to shoot all day.

There is quite a bit of demand for this hunt and the best time of year for shooting is May through August.

“We had a blast on the prairie dog hunts. Lost count of how many we shot over Thanksgiving!” - Maddux W
