Description

We are a full-service waterfowl guide service located in NE Arkansas.

We offer fully guided duck hunts in flooded rice fields, with lodging and meals included.

We also offer lodging for the do-it-yourself duck hunters wanting to hunt the Dave Donaldson Black River WMA.

We are about providing a true waterfowling experience. We welcome our clients to let us know how much involvement they want to participate in. We are dog-friendly. If our client wants to bring their dog, not a problem. We do not mix groups. This means you hunt only with the members of your party.

We offer hunts catered to our clients. Our regular guided hunts consist of a morning duck hunt and an optional afternoon speckle belly goose hunt if the client chooses. One thing that sets us apart from other guide services, we understand that the client is there to hunt. If our morning hunt is less than successful, we will offer our clients an afternoon hunt with no additional cost expected.

Base price included a one-day fully guided hunt, price per person.

My name is Don, I was born in November of 1971. I am obsessed with waterfowl. My earliest memory of ducks in the wild came when I was a young kid turkey hunting with my father along Black River in Missouri. As I closed my eyes just now, I can vividly see the beautiful colors of those wood ducks swimming in the slough we just eased the boat into that morning. My obsession was born. I witnessed my father harvesting a beautiful Missouri gobbler that morning, but couldn’t resist the opportunity to tell everyone about those wood ducks. So it began, my lifelong journey chasing waterfowl. At the age of fifteen I began my career as a waterfowler in the flooded timber in Arkansas and never looked back. I worked for local guide services for the opportunity to be “there”. This is where my education in the industry started. By my early twenties I was operating my own guide service.

Anyone born after 1968 must complete a hunter education course and carry a valid hunter education card to hunt in Arkansas.

Hunters 16 years or older are required to carry a valid Arkansas hunting license. If participating in a big game or permit hunt, an AGFC Customer ID is also required to check in harvests.
