Description
Afternoon Specklebelly Goose Hunt – Walnut Ridge, AR
If you’re after high-flying, hard-working specklebellies, this hunt is for you. Walnut Ridge sits in prime Arkansas rice country, right in the middle of the Mississippi Flyway. These fields hold geese all season long, and when they start moving in the afternoon, the action can be fast and exciting.
You’ll be set up in a comfortable blind with a well-placed decoy spread, calling in small groups and singles as they work their way down. Specks are known for their sharp eyes and wary nature, but with experienced guides handling the calling, you’ll get plenty of opportunities to take your shot.
What’s Included
- Expert Local Guides – Skilled callers who know how to bring specks in close.
- Private Hunting Location – Exclusive access to proven fields with high success rates.
- Decoys & Blinds – Pre-set spreads designed to fool even the most cautious geese.
- Retriever Service – A trained dog to recover birds.

- Shotgun & Non-Toxic Ammunition (12 or 20 gauge recommended)
- Arkansas Hunting License & Federal/State Waterfowl Stamps
- Waders or Weather-Appropriate Gear (fields can be muddy)

Awesome time. Drake went above and beyond to get us on birds. And he did and provided us a great experience. Lodge was perfect for our group and Matt and Gus did an outstanding job of keeping us entertained and getting us on birds and in the blind. Would not hesitate to book again and will be for next season. Dustin runs a great outfitter service and makes the experience enjoyable and trouble free.

I have hunted with many different outfitters good and bad across the country, but these guys are top notch. Everyone there was great but Adam and Sysco went above and beyond you won't find anyone that works harder to make it a great experience. After 3 days they feel like best friends I've known for years. I cannot begin to express how much I recommend them. Do yourself a favor and book a hunt with them!
