First Hunt Welcome: Low-Impact Whitetail for Youth, Seniors & New Hunters | Ozarks, MO

Welcome to [200] acres of Ozark hardwoods, ridges, and open ground outside Stover, Missouri. This land is noted as a historic Missouri resort.

Today we care for it as a place where people come to heal, learn, and reconnect with the outdoors.

We're BK & O, and we built this hunt for people who don't always get invited in: kids on their first hunt, seniors who want an easier day in the woods, and adults who never had anyone to teach them. You don't need experience. You need patience, respect for the land, and a willingness to learn.

What "low impact" means here

1. One small group on the land at a time, so the woods stay quiet and every hunter gets real attention
2. Ground blinds are walkable. But you can bring your own ATV/UTV.
3. We take only what we'll use and hunt by fair-chase ethics
4. No pressure to harvest. A morning watching deer move through the timber is a good hunt too

Your day

We start with a safety talk and a walk through the property. A mentor sits with first-time and youth hunters, and anyone who wants support can have it. We'll teach you shot placement, tracking, and field dressing, and we'll help you get your deer out of the woods. We also use walkie-talkies when you're ready to be left by yourself.
