Cranes
Karval, CO
1-10 Hunters • Private
Description
This is a One Day Crane hunt in Eastern Colorado. We run our Crane hunts from just North of I-70 as far south as highway 50. With that much ground to cover our scouts are on the road every day before the sun comes up to find the best possible hunt for you and your group! We hunt pits, layouts, A-frame, and or panel blinds. Each hunt is set up custom by your guide for maximum success.
We can start to see Cranes as early as the first Week of October and can still find some groups staying till Mid-December. As they make their way south the Sandhill Cranes find refuge in our cattle ponds and lakes. They feed on fields picking out planted seeds with their long sharp beaks and their large, concentrated numbers can wreak havoc on fields.
Your guide will likely be in contact with you just a day or two before your hunt for exact locations. If you are needing travel plans reach out at least 1 week before your hunt! Once your field or pond location is known and coordinated you must meet with your guide on time! From there your guide will do their job and when the time is right will let you know just when to pull the trigger!
