4-Day/5-Night Semi-Guided Archery Whitetail Free Range Hunt

Archery is a great method to kill a mature KY whitetail. This hunt is generally performed in Oak or Creek bottoms in lock-on, ladder, or climbing stands. We sit on trails, crossings, and buck sign (scrapes/horn trees) while bow hunting. Sometimes we may set up on a field edge if we have seen a big buck utilizing that area and feeding frequently. Your guide will have a specific buck or two we will be hunting in the area. We set up near bedding areas in hopes of catching your next trophy looking for food or performing the early stages of pre-rut. This is a great time to harvest a big buck looking to mark his territory or check out does early.

Free Range Hunts

Buck Creek is home to 500+/- acres of beautiful fair chase property to chase after monster Whitetail & Turkeys. We also hold leases in the surrounding area. This allows us to put our clients in low-pressure zones maximizing opportunities. Typically our hunters will hunt out of box stands, lock-ons, ground blinds, spot & stalk (Turkey's Only), and occasionally climbers. Hunters can expect to move stands every hunt based on the wind, weather, and scouting data to ensure we can give each hunter the highest chance for opportunity. We pride ourselves on allowing our hunters to not only see great qualities of animals but also good quantities to enhance the experience.

*ON ALL HUNTS: If blood is drawn, that is your animal! We will do everything we can to recover the animal, but a wounded animal is counted as a harvested animal recovered or not.*

Whitetail Hunts

Free Range Whitetail Hunts are limited to 10 hunters per year. This helps us keep the pressure off the deer and allow for maximum growth, so we can continue to produce mature bucks year after year. We will take you to a stand and pick you up after the hunt is over. A call or text must be made AS SOON as a shot is made. Only mature deer deemed 4 years old and older with a 130” Minimum may be harvested. (Unless your guide shows you a deer that we want specifically taken) There is a $500 charge for deer harvested/wounded less than 130”. We will provide trail cam pics and supporting info for specific deer in the area we are trying to get the hunter on. A doe can be harvested instead of a buck if chosen on free-range hunts. The doe must weigh at least 100 pounds. Listed beside the hunts are the season dates for each of the 3 hunts we offer.
