Welcome to Serenity Retreat. This property is designed to be a place of rest, nature, and respectful adventure. By booking and staying here, you agree to the following house rules.

1. Respect the Property & the Land

1. Serenity Retreat is located in a natural, rural environment. Please treat the land, wildlife, and structures with care.
2. Do not damage trees, vegetation, fences, or natural features.
3. Stay within designated areas and trails unless explicitly permitted.

2. Occupancy & Visitors

1. Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless prior written approval is granted.
2. No parties, large gatherings, or events without written permission.
3. Quiet enjoyment is expected at all times.

3. Quiet Hours

1. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
2. This includes outdoor noise, music, and amplified sound.
3. Please be mindful that sound carries in rural settings.

4. Fire Safety & Outdoor Fires

1. Fires are permitted only in designated fire pits.
2. Never leave a fire unattended.
3. Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving the area or going to sleep.
4. Follow all local fire bans or weather-related restrictions.
5. Do not burn trash, food waste, or treated materials.

5. Smoking & Substances

1. No smoking or vaping inside the cabin.
2. Outdoor smoking is permitted only in designated areas—please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
3. No illegal drugs are permitted on the property at any time.

6. Alcohol Use

1. Alcohol consumption is permitted responsibly for guests of legal age.
2. Excessive intoxication, disorderly behavior, or unsafe use of the property will not be tolerated.

7. Weapons, Hunting & Firearms

1. Firearms, bows, and hunting equipment are permitted only for approved and scheduled hunting experiences.
2. No discharge of firearms or weapons outside of authorized hunting activities.
3. All weapons must be handled safely and stored securely at all times.

8. Wildlife Awareness

1. Wildlife sightings are common. Do not approach, feed, or disturb animals.
2. Store food properly to avoid attracting wildlife.
3. Guests assume responsibility for their safety when outdoors.

9. Cleanliness & Checkout

1. Please leave the cabin in reasonable condition.
2. Wash used dishes, dispose of trash properly, and follow checkout instructions provided in the guidebook.
3. Excessive mess, damage, or biohazards may result in additional cleaning fees.

10. Damage & Liability

1. Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
2. Report issues or damage promptly so they can be addressed safely.

11. Safety & Emergencies

1. Guests are responsible for their own safety while on the property.
2. The terrain may be uneven, wooded, and remote—use caution at all times.
3. Emergency contact information is provided in the welcome book.

12. Violation of Rules

Failure to comply with these house rules may result in:

1. Immediate termination of stay without refund
2. Additional charges for damages or cleaning
3. Removal from the property if safety or property integrity is compromised
