Dr. Dewey Dixon is a local. He has been a resident of Pulaski County, having lived in Mounds and Olmsted all his life. He graduated from Meridian High School and attended Shawnee Community College while at Meridian. He also attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and South East Missouri State University before receiving a Bachelor of Science at Logan College of Chiropractic in 1982 and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in August 1983. Dr. Dixon lives just north of Mounds on a farm with his wife, Stephanie. They have two sons, Tyler and Brady. Tyler received his Bachelors degree from SIU-Carbondale and his Masters from Murray State University. He works at SIU-C in the Sports department as a Sports information Director. Brady is a graduate of SIU-Edwardsville, where he played Division I golf and received his Bachelors degree in Exercise Science. He is currently a real estate agent in Long Island, New York. I have coached little league baseball and coached, as well as refereed, Upward Basketball in Cairo. "My hobbies include hunting (mainly with a bow), playing golf, and spending time with my buddies at “The Cabin” for various hunts."
