To say we enjoyed our time
To say we enjoyed our time would be an understatement. We arrived Saturday morning and started our day with a delicious locally sourced, farm-to-table breakfast, then began our 3-hour quail hunt. Our guide, Prescott, was so welcoming and knowledgeable and made it a great experience for both an experienced hunter (my husband) and a beginner (myself). Watching the dogs (Dolly and Shiner) work was half the fun! Prescott even offered to take us to see the new piglets on the farm after the hunt. After another delicious meal for lunch, we were introduced to Michael who led us on our wine hike - a MUST if you're visiting Michael was so knowledgeable about the land and the wines and found ways to tie each one to a story about the land. The chef even sent out some food —personalized totally for us — to enjoy during the hike. I am a vegetarian and they modified their whole menu to suit my diet without even asking! After our hike, the resort staff allowed us to take their golf cart to explore the property. We had an amazing time seeing all the farm animals and experiencing all that the land had to offer. We will absolutely be back with friends next time!

Wow
Wow!! What a gorgeous 5 Star Farm! My husband & son did the afternoon hunt Sept 1st (they really enjoyed it) & we joined them for dinner. The view was breathtaking & when Steven welcomed us & he stated our Farm is your farm!!! Wow! The staff was so friendly, and the food was excellent (dessert was omgoodness) and we finished our spectacular night listening some awesome music with some great new friends & family!! We will be back soon!

There wasn't a single negative about the trip
There wasn't a single negative about the trip. Great guide (Jack), fantastic dogs, delicious food and some of the friendliest people you can be around. First class service and destination! Already booked a return trip. Truly cannot say enough good about windy hill farm.
