So where do I start

So where do I start?!? When I left Texas to embark on this journey, I could have never imagined that this trip would become one of the best and most amazing trips to anywhere I've ever been! Chris met us at the airport after a long journey of planes, shuttles and automobiles. Prior to arrival in Adak, Chris established a rapport with us which made it feel like greeting an old friend once we landed on Adak Island. I did not know what to expect and had NO idea what this would bring. Outside the awesome hunting, the landscape, the beauty, the unforgiving terrain, the beat you down weather, the sleeping outside, and a long list of other challenges all rolled up into words would be: unforgettable. Starting with Chris: He is the real deal. His knowledge of hunting, where to go, and how to conquer such a vast amount of treacherous terrain, Makes him not only a true survivalist a superb human, an awesome captain and now a friend! Now Barb: ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW. GOD puts some people on the planet to care for others with endless heart and this women is one of those people. Behind the tough, outdoorsy hunter and fisher women, she is one of the most caring people I now know. Besides making sure every meal is perfect and you are stuffed to the gills with awesome home cooked meals, she is patient, and very organized to make sure your experience is flawless. The lodge: coming home to a warm bed, heated rooms with boot warmers and a food filled refrigerator when you arrive I can't say enough. This is a hands down 5 star, bucket list experience, with extreme hunting you will never forget, people you will want to spend more time with and memories that people can only dream of!
