White Oak Lodge | Tichnor, Arkansas

At "Little Prairie", we get our name from the area where we're located in southern Arkansas County. Famous for our duck hunting, the bottomland area south of Stuttgart was settled in the 1800's by our forefathers. Our family dubbed this the "little prairie" because of the tall grasses that grew in the smaller version of the northern, larger Grand Prairie. Abundant in all wildlife: bear, deer, turkey, even a 'gator or 2, and, of course, ducks and geese! During the late fall and early winter, you can find the majestic bald eagle over Lake Merrisach perched in standing timber. Fishing is always great, whether it's our favorite crappie and catfish, or if you're trying to land that monster big bass. We are so blessed to be in the Land of the Three Rivers, Tichnor, Arkansas. Just a stone's throw from us you can be on the White, Arkansas, or Mississippi rivers. Another benefit of our area are the 2 wildlife refuges available for public hunting: Dale Bumpers' National Wildlife Refuge and Trusten Holder Wildlife Management Area. Whether you're here to hunt, fish, or relax on the bank, you are sure to find something that will ease your mind and fill your soul.

White Oak Lodge

White Oak Lodge is named for the large, shaded area around the lodge covered by the local white oak tree. The lodge is 2100 sq ft and sleeps up to 8 people. It has a fully -furnished kitchen (except for food). Linens are provided in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We also offer free on-site laundry. We provide high-speed internet, satellite TV, and a business center for those days you just HAVE to do a little business. There is a printer, paper, pens, and legal pads for your convenience. Outside amenities include a large private deck with grill, fire pit, and paved parking. There's also plenty of room to practice shooting your bow. This lodge is very private, just off the main highway, but close enough to everything you're here to enjoy.

We are open YEAR-ROUND! You can stay with us anytime of the year. However, due to the nature of our business, lodging-only accommodations are only available when duck season is out.

Lodging Only:

$200/day - no meals included.

$50 Charge per person past 5 guests, up to 8 guests.

2 night, 2 person minimum
