Waterfowl Hunt | North Carolina

Your Experience
When it comes to Waterfowling, we do it all no matter what the forecast is. We hunt from Currituck to Pamlico Point and every river in between. We have nice duck blinds in various locations, we brush blind hunt on edges of marsh for added concealment, and we also have recently acquired a duck impoundment.
Migratory birds seem to flare at box blinds more late in the season so we hunt the marsh or the impound.
What North Carolina really has to offer is the variety of ducks that migrate heavily through the east coast of the state.. Ranging from Teal, Widgeon, Pintail, Mallard, Woodies, and all the species of divers. The scenery where we hunt isn't hard to take either. Whether it be the camaraderie in the marsh when the birds aren't flying or when I'm calling and maneuvering birds into shooting range, we are the guide service for you!!!
THE HUNT
Our duck hunts typically start several hours before sunrise. We meet or follow each other to gas station for coffee and biscuits then off to the boat ramp.
From there its normally a 5-20 minute boat ride to the hunt spot location…then the prep work begins for me!!!! We mainly hunt open water marsh from box blinds or boat blinds. We also set up from time to time on marsh points and hide the boat…This works really well late season!!!
Anywhere from 60 – 200 decoys will be put out each hunt. More decoys ensure that high flyers have more to look at and it definitely makes a difference!!!

Growing up in Northeastern North Carolina couldn’t have been a better place to live as a young boy. I started going on hunting trips with my father at the age of 6. He took me duck hunting in the sounds of Currituck and deer hunting all over eastern North Carolina. I was addicted to the thrill of the hunt. Since then, my dream has been becoming a hunting guide. Now it's myself and 11 other people that make our client's dream hunts a reality.

Rules & Guidelines
Liability
All hunters in your group will be required to sign a release of liability waiver prior to hunting.
Cancellations
Please note, there is a 50% nonrefundable deposit included with your booking fee, required to reserve dates for your group. In case of cancellation, the remaining 50% will be returned to you.
Due to certain life circumstances, you might not be able to make your reserved dates. If that is the case, we allow you the next hunting season to reschedule.
License
All hunters must have a valid North Carolina Hunting License, and abide by all NC Hunting Regulations. Out-of-state hunters are able to purchase a license online or at a local business upon arrival. Word of advice: Call and order your license. Don’t try to do it online! This is by far the easiest method. And always remember the one-year license is only $20 more than the 6 day!!! So, if you plan to turkey hunt or duck hunt with us, it's much cheaper to purchase the full year hunting license. Cost depends on the state you live in!
Tipping
Tipping is not required, but it is well appreciated. Our guides go out of their way to ensure you're going to be successful and do everything in their power to recover and retrieve game that was harvested….
Especially for the Chef!! Awesome food!!! Works off tips…
