Experience the absolute best Lake Erie walleye charter fishing trips with Capt. Dave aboard Island Hopper charter boats. Walleye fishing takes place on the western and central basins of Lake Erie near Port Clinton.

Our charter docks east of Toledo near Port Clinton, Ohio and our boat starts running just after ice out on April 1, departing from Wild Wings Marina.

April jig fishing we can easily turn 100 walleye in the 3 to 8 lb range in a couple of hours when the water conditions are right. We drift fish our favorite reefs and spawning areas where the walleye are gathered in massive schools spawning. We prefer rod-in-hand drift fishing for walleye on Lake Erie. Casting spinners or weapons { our lure of choice} tipped with nightcrawlers.

Pricing is for a group of up to 6 anglers for a 7-Hour Charter. Add Lunch and or lodging for an additional fee.
