OUR WHITETAIL HUNTS

Texas has long been known as the leader in whitetail conservation and the State’s management practices have been put to use all across the United States. We have been at the forefront of whitetail breeding and boast one of the highest rates of animals in all their native ranges. Texas is your go-to state for trophy whitetail, with liberal harvest regulations and over-the-counter licenses.

The state of Texas offers M.L.D. tags assigned to ranches in the M.L.D. program. This program allows the rifle/bowhunter to hunt from the end of September until the end of February. From the mesquite flats of the south to the rolling terrain of the hill country, Texas whitetail hunting cannot be beaten. With 97 percent of the state being privately owned, Texas offers a unique opportunity to hunt some of the best managed low fence and high fence ranches in prime whitetail country.

If you buy it online a hard copy will be sent to you in the mail. The state recently passed a bill allowing you to use a picture of the license to show proof instead of a hard copy.

However, you will need your hard copy when you harvest your game species. Upon successful harvest, the correct tag will be filled out and placed on the animal. The harvest log on the back of the license has to be filled out as well

If you choose to use TNT, a deposit is required at drop-off and balance upon completion. We will have a price list in our lodge so you can look at his work and prices.

If I Wound An Animal Am I Responsible For It? - Tes if you shoot an animal and do not recover it the hunter is responsible for the full cost of that animal. Our guides will determine if the animal was hit and that will be the final decision.
