Want to throw some horseshoes or drink a cold one while you chill out in a lawn chair enjoying the feel of warm Texas sunshine on your face? Envision your own cozy tipi with plush furniture, fully equipped kitchenette, private bathroom and gorgeous view, not to mention BBQ pit for grilling, picnic table and fire pit for chatting or just relaxing with your friends and family. Imagine escaping from the real world for a while.

There are 5 in total surrounding a stock tank pond located on 4.5 acres (Geronimo Creek Retreat) that borders the beautiful spring-fed Geronimo Creek. Great for family getaways or rent all 5 tipis for larger groups! They look like a traditional tipi from the outside but inside they are fully furnished and have all the conveniences of modern day living including: air conditioning, heating, basic satellite TV, kitchenette with sink, under-counter refrigerator, stove top and extra large toaster oven. Each Tipi comes with its own private bathroom with a large walk in tiled shower. The bathroom is located in a separate building, all of the tipis have their own private bathroom.
Geronimo Creek Retreat is an oasis of peace and fun nestled in the pecan trees overlooking a babbling creek in the heart of nature and on the edge of Texas Hill Country. We also have 4 tree-house cabins (1 bedroom with a loft) on the property and a 3 bedroom house for rent.
The retreat also has a community game room with big screen TV, ping pong table and a large covered area with picnic tables and a community hot tub. The creek has excellent fishing. We have a dock with kayaks and kayaks for guests use. We also keep tubes, lawn and lounge chairs, and life jackets for your convenience.

Rules & Guidelines
Do the kitchens have everything I need to cook a meal?
Yes, our kitchens are stocked with all kitchen necessities you would need to make your meals. If you require any necessary kitchen gadgets that you are unsure we have, please bring them with you or please ask us if you forget anything.
Can we use the rec room and hot tub anytime during our stay?
The rec room and hot tub are available for our guests between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. You are welcome to utilize these areas during these times.
Can we use the kayaks and paddles and the rope swing at the Retreat?
Yes! Our guests are encouraged to utilize the kayaks and paddles provided and the rope swing during their stay. Please note that our creek is SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK AND NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. We ask that you use our provided lifejackets or bring your own if you will be paddling in our creek. Please do not take our kayaks or paddles off site.
Can we use the firepits and picnic areas located around the property?
Yes, you are welcome to use any of the firepits and and picnic areas located at Geronimo Creek Retreat. Please ensure all fires are extinguished after each use and monitor any flammable items or young children near open flames.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, with a $75 non-refundable pet deposit. Pets must be well behaved, quiet, & non-threatening. Pets must be kenneled when indoors and on a leash when outdoors.
Are there life-guards on duty?
There are no life guards on duty, no fence or barrier restricting persons from entering the water and no depth signs. Under water hazards may exist and swimming is at your own risk. Renter is responsible for the safety and well-being of all guests and is responsible for keeping a close watch on all swimmers as well as non-swimmers or persons who may enter or accidentally enter the water. Should the Renter/Responsible party be absent from the Property for any length of time, it is his/her duty to designate another person within his/her party for this responsibility.
Is there a check-in office onsite?
No, each vacation rental unit has a key pad. You will be e-mailed access instructions as well as instructions to download our hassle free check -in app. The access code will be e-mailed to you as well as be available on the check-in app at 9:00 AM on the day of your arrival. Our office, maintenance man and cleaning manager live near by should you need anything during your stay.
Are the cabins wheel chair accessible?
The are not. Being built close to the creek, we had to build them high in the air to keep them out of the flood plane.
Does the property flood?
The Geronimo Creek is beautiful natural attractions, but is subject to occasional wet-weather flooding during heavy rains. The living areas of the Unit are built above the flood-way though the parking way may not be. For your safety, you may be asked to evacuate the Property if there are impending flood watches or warnings in the area. We monitor this situation closely and will give as much notice as possible to you if this situation becomes a reality and ask that you help us in monitoring the situation. Obviously, this occurrence is rare and will not likely affect your stay.
