Description

Turkey Hunts

Spring turkey hunts are offered in the mid coastal area. With large numbers of turkeys in this region success rates are very good. Using proper calling and scouting a hunt with us will be memorable. We hunt at local dairy farms, fields and wooded areas and specialize in Maine turkey hunting with youth hunters on youth day and throughout the season. You will be hunting with decoys and be accompanied by guides that have been hunting this zone since the first year it opened. We have harvested many nice turkeys, so you need to book in time because dates go fast.

Directions to Lodge

Searsport From the Maine / New Hampshire Border

Take I-95 to Augusta. Then take Rt. 3 (coastal route) for about 45 minutes to Belfast. In Belfast you will see a Chevrolet dealership on your right, and an overpass in front of you. Turn left just beyond the overpass, taking Rts. 1-3 east. Go until you get to Searsport (6 miles). Just after the banks you will see Mt. Ephraim Road on your left.

Searsport From Bangor Airport

Leave the airport and follow the signs to I-95 south. Once you get on I-95 south, go to exit 180 in Hampden and turn left off the ramp. At the light (2 miles), go right to the next light and turn right on Rt. 1A south. Follow 1A south to Searsport (20 miles). In Searsport turn right on the Mt. Ephraim Road. If you pass the banks on Rt. 1, you have gone too far.

Sea Duck Lodge From US Rt. 1 in Searsport

Follow Mt. Ephraim Road 4.8 miles until you see Nickerson Road on your left. In the daytime you will see a big blueberry field just before it, at night you will see a reflector tape at the road entrance. My driveway is 1.3 miles on Nickerson Road, on the left is a mailbox that will say Jackson 118 and a sign Seaduck Ln.
