What to Expect

After your arrival and a good night's rest we start with a quick continental breakfast and set out for the deer stands about one hour before sunrise. Normally we stay until 10 am unless everyone has agreed to stay longer. We come in and have a brunch or late breakfast followed by a resting time for a nap and or strategic planning for the afternoon hunt. Soup and Sandwich for lunch around 1-2 and then out to the stands again by 3 for a sit until dark. After our return to camp, we meet at the mess hall within 15-20 minutes of arrival for a hardy dinner and a review of the days hunting events in preparation for the next day's hunt plan.

We are low pressure for hunter success and our daily planning. If the group decides to hunt longer, we are all in! The more time in the field the more chance for success.

Rules & Guidelines

What to Bring on your Whitetail Hunting Trip

Each game hunter has his or her own equipment preferences. Therefore, we ask that you bring the following with you for your hunting experience with us: Camo clothing, Snake boots or quality hunting boots, ThermaCell or other mosquito repellant, small flashlight, seat cushion, rain gear, deer grunt and or rattling antlers, shooting sticks, your favorite weapon no less than .243, and please be sure you have sighted in your rifle or bow prior to arriving. We do have a range, but we prefer to use it as a must use tool and not for sighting in a new rifle and scope combination. That much work needs to be done before your arrival as too much shooting lets the animals know you are coming.
