We offer some great turkey hunting on private and public land in the Spring. The Tom’s are usually very active and out pursuing hens. The country we hunt is in some of the most beautiful mountainous terrain in south central New Mexico.

On this DIY/Unguided hunt you will do your own calling, we will show you where to go and help you in every way we can to make your hunt successful.

Our turkey hunts take place in south central New Mexico in the Sacramento and Capitan Mountains. This area of New Mexico has a large number of Merriam turkeys, and the two-bird limit makes this a great hunting opportunity.

If you are looking for a turkey slam or just want to hunt Merriam turkeys in the mountains of southern New Mexico, we can make it happen.

A semi-guided hunt consists of us showing you around and helping you to locate the birds. You do all of your own hunting and calling. Lodging will be in our hunting lodge. Meals will not be provided. Licenses are sold over the counter.

PRICING

Base price is per person for a Semi-Guided Hunt and includes lodging and ONE bird. Add a SECOND bird for an additional fee per person.

SEASON

Turkey hunting takes place in the spring from April 15th through May 10th.

Please note that there is a 50% non-refundable deposit included with your booking fee. In case of cancellation, and in accordance with the Host's cancellation policy, the remaining 50% may be returned to you or applied towards rescheduling a future trip.

Rules & Guidelines

Included in the price of your hunt is professional guide service, lodging and transportation during your hunt and field care of your animal.

Hunters are responsible for getting to the camp location, meals, state license and habitat stamps, taxidermy, meat processing, any shipping of game and gross receipts tax.

State License and Stamps - Estimated Cost = $165

Cancellation

If for any reason you have to cancel your hunt, deposits may be transferred to a future hunt. Any cancellations less than 60 days prior to your hunt may be subject to forfeiture.

Deposit

Please note that there is a non-refundable 50% deposit included with your booking fee. Cancellations made at least 60 days in advance will be refunded the remaining 50% of their payment.

Hunter Contract

Please fill out and submit your Hunter Contract after your booking has been approved. You must have this completed and on file with us to hunt.
