Description
This is for a semi-guided hog hunt for up to two, in east Texas. Canton is home to First Monday Trade Days… a great opportunity to make the wife/girlfriend happy shopping while you get to hunt. Lodging is included in a cabin at the Silver Spur Resort in east Texas, home of the Canton KOA, Q&Brew restaurant and brewery, escape rooms and more. Hunting will be over feeders to best pattern the pigs. I only do (1) hunt per month. I send feeder pics to give you an idea what is happening at the feeders in the weeks leading up to the hunt. There are no guarantees in hunting but I do my best to make it as close as possible. I have a 6.5 grendel and a thermal scope that is available if you do not have night optics. We will use a handheld thermal to scan.
The best time to hunt pigs in this area is between 8pm - 2am. Based on game camera patterns at the feeders, low pressure hunting and the fact that these are wild free-ranging animals, they can appear anytime or not at all.

Rules & Guidelines
No Smoking in the Cabin. No drinking before or during your hunt. Pet of $50 charged if you bring a pet. While traveling to and from the hunting location your rifle should be unloaded and barrel pointed down. Focus on scent control while you hunt. No Smoking while hunting (it has happened).
