Scottish Highland Stag Package (2 Stags, 4 nights)

Altnaharra, SCOTLAND

1-4 Hunters • Lodge • Private • Guided

Description

Overview

Deer stalking (hunting) in the Scottish Highlands, the opportunity to take two stags, with both Red and Sika available. Highland stag stalking is widely regarded as the pinnacle of British fieldsports. The stalking takes place on a 7,000-acre forestry block, two hours north of Inverness Airport, comprising a mix of open hill and woodland, and providing both technical and more strategic stalking.

You will stay in a fully catered lodge and be looked after by the Griffin Sporting team. The accommodation is in keeping with what you might expect in the Scottish Highlands, with its own slightly eccentric character. All meals and drinks, including house alcohol, are included, and we are happy to arrange special bottles on request. Depending on the day’s plan, you will be offered a cooked breakfast, a packed lunch for the hill, and a locally sourced three-course dinner in the evening.

This trip is suitable for up to four hunters and observers. For observers, we will arrange day tours of the beautiful Scottish countryside and notable sites, including local distilleries and Castle Mey (where the late Queen mother lived).
