Whether you're looking to fill your cooler with delicious, fresh fish or to spend time on the water with your family, Reef Fishing in Florida is the perfect pastime. And there’s no better place to do it than the Florida Keys, home to North America’s only coral barrier reef. 

You can expect to catch a wide range of fish during one of our short charters! While this may vary throughout the seasons, we often catch:

• Yellowtail Snapper
• Mangrove Snapper
• Mutton Snapper
• Land Snapper
• Grouper “seasonal”
• Barracuda
• Sharks
• Jacks
• Mackerel.

Set sail on one of our reef fishing charters. Firstly, Florida Keys is one of the best spots for this activity - home to stunning views and more than 6,000 species of marine life. This means that you’ll find a catch worth bragging about! 

Our private charters are tailored around YOU - which means they can be as hands-on or as hands-free as you’d like. As a result, we’re a great companion for experienced fishermen, alongside families and beginners.

In fact, this is one of the best ways for novices to develop vital fishing skills - especially as we’re always on hand to provide you with assistance, answer questions or even help you reel in a treat.

The Experience

Beyond catching some great fish, we work hard to ensure that our guests always have a great time with us. In comparison to other charters, reef trips are shorter as we don’t go out as far.

This means you’re likely to experience shorter runs and calmer seas - great for those who may be worried about the dreaded sea-sickness.

While fishing with us here in Marathon, FL you will notice instantly that we run a clean, professional, and very friendly operation. While fishing with us you can be as hands-on or hands-off as you would like. We enjoy letting our customers cast and hook their own fish, but we have no problem hooking them for you if you’d like!

We pride ourselves in using all top-of-the-line tackle and keeping everything in perfect condition. Whether looking for a relaxing day of family fishing on the reef or chasing trophy fish offshore we will make sure to meet your request!

Our job is to catch you fish and that is what we do best! We will not sit in one spot and say sorry the fish just aren’t biting today. We will work hard and burn fuel to make sure your day is successful. While on board you can play your own music on our Bluetooth stereo, kick back, unwind, and witness the beautiful and amazing fishing the Florida Keys waters have to offer.

The Boats

31T Contender Powered with twin Yamaha 250 HP

• The Contender 31T boasts a pair of Yamaha 250HP engines, providing impressive power. It comes equipped with a cutting-edge 2023 Garmin electronics package, featuring radar and chirp transducers for enhanced navigation. Additionally, this vessel is outfitted with electric reels, perfect for deep-sea fishing and kite fishing enthusiasts. Its thoughtfully designed layout offers exceptional comfort and ample seating for all passengers onboard.

28 foot Whitewater Powered by Twin Yamaha 200HP

• These boats are built to fish Miami waters to the Keys, so they are made to live offshore. WhiteWater Boats is considered by many as the hidden gem in the offshore fishing world. They are a small company but have developed somewhat of a legendary status among serious offshore fishermen over the years. Our 28’ Whitewater is fully rigged with 250 gallons of fuel, outriggers, Garmin electronics, 2017 Yamaha 200 HP motors, 2 Large Yeti coolers, 3 massive live wells, 3 electric reel outlets, outriggers, large t-top for shade, and plenty of rod holders. This boat is rigged for some serious tournament fishing!

Safety is always our goal! On board we will always have life jackets for adults kids, E-pirb, Satellite phone, First Aid Supplies, Flares, Fire Extinguishers, and all required Coast Guard specifications.

The base price is for a half-day (4-Hour) Reef Fishing trip on the 28-foot Whitewater for up to 5 passengers. Book a trip on the Contender 31T for an additional fee for up to 6 passengers. Make it a 6-Hour Trip for an additional fee based on the desired boat.
