Our summer adventures take place high in the Weminuche wilderness.
Because of the vast size of our permit area, we are one of the few outfitting businesses in the Weminuche area with the ability to take a progressive horseback trip between our permitted camp locations. These trips are either 3 or 5 days and start just north of Durango, ending near Purgatory Ski Area.
This is a unique trip where you will travel to a different camp location each day and see all the wilderness has to offer. You can also be picked up by the Durango Silverton Railroad on the last day of the trip and ride back to Durango.
Base price is for the 3-day trip. If you would like the 5-day trip, select the 5-Day Add-On when booking.
