Offshore Bottom Fishing Charter (6 & 8 hrs)

1-4 Guests • No Lodging • Public • Guided

Description

One offshore trip is the deep sea bottom fishing trip, which will take you from 20 to 50 miles out.

When bottom fishing you can expect to catch red and vermillion snapper, large triggerfish, grouper, sea bass, amberjacks, porgy’s, sharks and we do catch the occasional dolphin (mahi-mahi) while bottom fishing.

These trips can be a blast and will fill a cooler in no time with some of the best-tasting fish you will ever eat, of course filling the cooler is up to the angler; the captain will put you on the fish but you have to catch them.

The federal government regulates some of the species you can keep, please don’t hesitate to ask what is open and when.

The base price is for the 6-hour trip, which allows 4 individuals.

Rules & Guidelines

Amenities can be added to any charter upon request. We know how hard it can be to get the drinks and snacks when you’re not from the area, so just ask! We will be happy to provide everything for you at a minimal charge.

Fish cleaning:

Fish cleaning is available upon request for additional charges of $3.00 per fish that are under 3 pounds and $1.00 per pound on fish that weigh over 3 pounds. Some fish are cleaned away from pick up points so be prepared to pick them up the next day or prior to leaving town. Cleaning includes filleting and packaging, clients are reminded to always wash and inspect your fish before cooking.

Booking:

Please note, there is a 50% deposit included with your payment when booking. Failure to show up for a charter will result in forfeiture of your full deposit.

A 5 day cancellation notice prior to the day of the charter is required for a full refund.

A last minute cancellation for a reason like a death in the family or hospitalization requires written proof. Our Charters reserves the right to cancel a charter for weather, safety, or maintenance reasons that would possibly endanger our passengers or equipment. Safety is always first with us!

Things to Bring: In South Carolina, sunscreen is a must during all weather. Creams seem to work better than the spray type. Bring what you plan to eat and drink (no glass bottles). Keeping hydrated is so important in the heat. A hat with a bill and a pair of polarized sunglasses will cut the glare on the water and may help you catch more fish, wear non-marking shoes. If you plan on keeping fish be sure you bring a cooler to transport them home, please leave it in your vehicle until the charter is complete.

Allergies: If you or anyone in your party is (or suspects that they are) allergic to fish, shellfish or seafood; we ask that you identify this serious issue at the time of booking your reservation. By identifying this in a timely manner it gives the captain the opportunity to take steps to try and sterilize the boat before you board. Most importantly we ask you to bring your EpiPen with you, in the case of an emergency, and identify it to the captain when boarding the vessel.
