7-Day Hunt

Experience the magic of Namibia, whether hunting or just breaking away from city life to listen to the wind or the howl of a jackal. We are a family-operated game farm located on the eastern side of Namibia. Established in 2005, Neuhof aims to provide a personalized hunting and recreational experience.

Activities include rifle and bow trophy hunting, game drives, bird watching, photo safaris, hiking trails, horse riding, flight safaris, and excursions to see local Bushmen and local wildlife sanctuaries. Satisfy your senses with homemade family cuisine, bush dinners, Savannah grassland picnics, and sun-downers from the waterhole viewpoint. A variety of Wellness treatments are also available.

Hunting

Rifle & Bow Hunting

We believe in offering a uniquely personal experience and therefore only take one group at a time.

We believe in fair hunting and therefore avoid shooting from hunting vehicles and hunt on a walk-and-stalk preference. The only exceptions are people with difficulty walking; the elderly or the injured.

Our hunting area is stretched over 50,000 hectares free range and fenced.

The Trophy hunting season runs yearly from February until November although the ideal time for hunting is from March until the end of September/mid-October.

From mid-October till the end of February summer, temperatures rise very high and result in unbearable heat outdoors – animals then generally seek shade and lay down. December until the end of February (sometimes still in March), thunderstorms start which makes it dangerous and difficult to hunt.

More or less from November till May, the vegetation is green from the summer rains and when Winter sets in you get your ‘light yellow’ Savannah grassland, drier season.

Accommodation

Accommodations consist of a double-story thatch roof lodge and three chalets.

Elephant’s Den - Double Story Thatch Roof Lodge:

We provide a communal lounge and dining area equipped with an African bar and braai (bbq) area where hearty meals can be enjoyed three times a day whilst discussing hunting and safari tales. Enjoy an ice-cold beer or an elegant glass of wine alongside.

Relaxing at the crystal-clear swimming pool may just be what you need to round off an exhilarating day out in the Namibian sun and unspoiled bushveld.

We also offer a Doctor/Family Physician on-site.

Base price is for a 7-Day Safari and includes 1-Oryx, 1-Red Hartebeest, & 1-Springbuck. All amenities are included.
