Description
Enjoy great late-spring fishing with a Striped Bass Charter. Our Hudson River Charters take place in the month of May and fish between Saugerties and Poughkeepsie, just outside of Kingston, NY. We dock for the month between the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge and Esopus Flats, which are some of the most prime spawning grounds on the entire Hudson River.
These tours are for anglers of all ages, and you should be able to take home a cooler full of great fillets, and maybe even your next trophy! We hit the Spring Striped Bass Spawning Run at its peak. Fish over 30 pounds aren't uncommon. Most fish are between 15 and 25 pounds, and the river record is over 56 pounds.
Fish between 15 and 25 pounds are the prime eating fish and are what make up the bulk of our stringers each day.

Rules & Guidelines
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Capt Matt reserves the right to cancel any scheduled trip and/or make changes to trips as deemed necessary. You can contact Captain Matt at any time to cancel your reservation, however your deposit is nonrefundable within 7 days of your scheduled trip.
We fish rain or shine. Occasionally, due to an unforeseen situation and/or safety concerns, we may communicate and cancel a trip. If this happens (and it’s rare it does) we will attempt to re-book with you on a date that is agreeable to parties involved.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Capt. Matt and his employees are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained to participants or personal property during any of our offered trips.
Due to changing fuel costs and other factors, we reserve the right to alter trip rates at any time.
