Come out and join Captain Nel on a first-class fishing charter experience. We fish the waters of Miami, Miami Beach, and Key Biscayne for Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Kingfish, Grouper, Amberjack, Tuna, Cobia, Snapper, Marlin, Swordfish, and many more! We are conveniently located at Crandon Marina on Key Biscayne.

Our pride and joy the “Top Gun” is a fast, stable and comfortable luxury sport fishing charter boat with an air-conditioned salon, clean bathroom, and modern engines. Captain Nel and his experienced, courteous crew use the latest and most efficient methods to catch trophy fish or fill the cooler.

Our 5-hour half-day charters allow us to fish for varied species and allow us to fish from North Miami Beach to the Gateway of the Keys: Fowey Rocks, Brewster, and Star Reef.

Typical half-day charters run from 7am-12pm or 1pm-6pm. We look forward to seeing you and your friends out on the open water!

Captain Nel has been fishing locally in Miami since he was a young boy. His passion has always been being on the water fishing. Born and raised in Miami, he is extremely familiar with the local waters as well as the Islands of the Bahamas. He is a USCG Certified 100 Ton Master Captain as well as an IGFA Certified Observer.

Rules & Guidelines

We have the equipment for any fishing technique – including Kite fishing, deep-dropping, and trolling, swordfishing at Night or daytime.

We have two tournament class boats in our charter fleet for all your offshore needs. The “Top Gun” is a 41′ Hatteras Sport fishing Yacht and the “Top Gun II” is a 45’ Hatteras Sport fishing Yacht. Both have cold air-conditioned salons with comfortable seating. They feature TV/VCR/DVD and CD player and Radio with Ipod dock.

The Salons are a beautiful, comfortable escape from the heat, or a nice place to entertain and relax during and after a great day of fishing! Their galleys have been beautifully remodeled with granite countertops, a full refrigerator, microwave and range. The head/bathrooms are clean, comfortable, and easily accessible.

Both boats are equipped with state of the art GPS and fish finder/sounder. You can enjoy the view and breeze on the flybridge with the Captain, or go below to the cockpit, and be ready to enjoy the excitement and adventure that starts with the beautiful sound of the line being pulled off the reels by a big fish. Their roomy cockpits are extremely comfortable for fishing and are equipped with a rocket launcher to help you hook the big fish! There are also 2 huge live bait well systems in the cockpit to hold as many live baits as we need to get you your catch!

Additionally, our Charters are a USCG certified vessels, and therefore you are not required to have a fishing license to fish aboard the Top Gun.
