The Sacramento River below Shasta Dam – known as the Lower Sacramento, or “Lower Sac” – has to be rated as among the best tailwater fisheries in the country.
Its wild rainbows are big, tough, and plentiful, and the river’s controlled flows, combined with northern California’s temperate climate – result in near-optimum fishing conditions nearly every day of the year.
We offer a variety of shore or float trips for different angler levels and fishing needs. If you’re looking to improve your game and take it to the next level, you can find the support and resources you need right here. Additionally, Guide Chris will personally consult with every angler to understand their unique goals.
