This is the perfect elk hunt for those who can not or just don’t want to hike all over the Rockies. The Colorado Plains elk season is available from September 1st to January 31st for rifle. Which means it is one of the few places you can rifle hunt for bugling bulls.
Hunts are fully guided out of blinds or stands, with spot and stalk opportunities if they present themselves.
