LAND BASED REDFISH

OCTOBER-DECEMBER BOOKING

EXPERIENCE: Join us on a day at one of Texas's most remote beaches as we show you why redfish are our favorite game fish. We can target limits of slot redfish for a meat haul or go after a new personal best. Bull reds from 36-46" are not uncommon on our charters. In December we also have the opportunity to target big uglies (black drum) for personal records. We will ride together down the beach and cast bait. You may bring your own vehicle (at your own risk) if it is a 4x4 but keep in mind many vehicles are totaled by the Texas surf each year.

If you choose to beach comb and explore while we fish you are more than welcome to. Our remote fishing locations routinely have coyotes, wild hogs, countless birds, unique shells, sea beans and driftwood. Venomous snakes are possible so surface hunt and explore at your own risk, be careful. I will bring waders if conditions are not calm and we need to get baits a little farther out. Whether it is a meat haul or a photo with a monster red that you wish to release, we have you covered.

BRING: Drinks, Food (things that don't have to be cooked), sandwiches, summer sausage, chips, fruit, camera, Ice chest if you wish to take fish home, extra dry clothes, etc... I will provide rods, reels, bait, transportation, ice chests for drinks and food.

Base price is for our 6 hour day trip for up to two guests.

Rules & Guidelines

House Rules: Larger parties (10+) can be arranged. A $200 down deposit is required upon scheduling a trip. If desired, anglers will have the honor of tagging, fin clipping and even naming large sharks for local and international coastal migratory studies. If a tagged shark is recaptured the tagger will be notified. Large sharks are only harvested if the guide believes the shark will not survive. Slot reds and other game fish are frequently caught and available for harvest. Anglers must have a current TPWD fishing license.
