Safety Comes First
- Follow your guide's instructions at all times.
- Firearms must remain unloaded until instructed otherwise.
- Always practice safe firearm handling and maintain muzzle awareness.
- Alcohol is prohibited before and during the hunt.
- Eye and hearing protection are recommended.
Hunting Licenses & Regulations
Hunters are responsible for purchasing and carrying all required Kansas hunting documentation before arrival, including:
- Valid Hunting License (if required)
- Any additional permits required by state regulation
Arrival & Hunt Schedule
- Please arrive at the lodge during your scheduled check-in time.
- Morning hunts begin well before sunrise, so be prepared for early departures.
- Notify your guide if travel delays affect your arrival.
Lodging Expectations

Waterfowl hunting depends on migration timing, weather conditions, and bird movement. Native Thunder scouts daily to provide the best opportunities possible, but harvests can never be guaranteed.
