Lake Information
LAKE TANEYCOMO: This lake is best known for its Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. Rainbow Trout are fish-able year round. Brown Trout are typically fished in August, September and November. Other locations available upon request.
Boat and Equipment Information:
Our boat is a thoroughly cleaned, regularly serviced 1654 Steal Craft Power Drifter with a 40 HP Mercury motor. All fly rods, flies, and gear is in excellent condition and is up to date. Captain Darren is an Orvis endorsed guide and generally uses Orvis gear.

After earning a degree in Wildlife Management and Conservation with an emphasis on Fishery Biology from Missouri State University (formerly Southwest Missouri State University), Darren began working in the fishing and outdoor industry. Darren's lifelong dream of operating his own fishing guide business is now a reality and he is eager to share his vast knowledge with you.
