Description

These are 4-5 hour trips usually starting at 6:00am.

Susquehanna River Catfish Fishing

After a long cold winter as soon as the water begins to warm the Susquehanna Catfish go on a feeding frenzy. This is one of the best catfish bites of the year. This is also the time to catch some of the biggest of the season.

Fishing for these River Monsters this time of the year is pretty straight forward we will fish feeding areas near their wintering holes. when it comes to bait cut bait seems to do the trick but prepared baits also work at times. There is also a good amount of Flatheads in these parts of the River so a true giant is possible.

These trips are fun for all ages just dress warm. These trips will run 4 to 5 hours all rods reels and bait will be provided.

You will remember this adventure for years to come!

**Price is for the boat, not per person. Based on 2 anglers.**

Safety Considerations: Our Guide service is a professional full time guide service. As such the overall safety of his guest allows the Captain to cancel a charter at any time due to weather and or water conditions. If the trip is canceled due to weather or water conditions, you may reschedule the trip.

All charters based on two anglers. singles welcome based on availability.

Additional time may be added to a charter at $25 per hour based on availability.

CPR: Catch Photo and Release: All Bass will be released in order to maintain this world class fishery. Catfish and walleye under 21 inches may be kept.

Capacity: I can accommodate two adults or one adult and two children. I have other boats available if other anglers wish to come along.

Pa.fishing license: You must have your PA Fishing License with you and displayed no exceptions.

Fowl Weather: You will need to bring your rain gear hopefully you won’t need it but you never know. Bring enough warm clothes I have ample storage for extra gear. Sunglasses are a must not only to see the structure but also for eye protection.

Equipment: If you choose to use my equipment you will be using very high quality Denali Kovert Rods paired with Lews Reels, each one of these outfits cost in excess of $300 That being said if you drop one in you will be charged the replacement cost. As always you are welcome to bring your own gear.

Weather and Water: We fish rain or shine as long as there is no Lightning in the area. If we are faced with heavy winds I will make the call. Usually anything over a 20 mph wind will need to be rescheduled.

High Water: I understand everyone wants a perfect day with perfect flows, unfortunately that is not river fishing. As long as the Wilkes-Barre gauge is below six feet and not raising we can safely fish the river. If it is above six feet we can fish a lake or reschedule.

Please note, there is a 50% nonrefundable deposit included with your payment when booking.
