Guided Duck Hunt in Texas Panhandle

Tahoka, Texas

Description

A guided duck hunt in the Texas Panhandle from a blind on a playa lake is an unforgettable waterfowl experience, combining prime habitat with expert guidance for an action-packed morning.

Our fully guided duck hunts consist of hunting out of blinds over water on one of our several playa lakes. The Texas Panhandle is home to thousands of playa lakes—seasonal, shallow wetlands that serve as critical water sources for migrating waterfowl. These lakes attract an abundance of ducks, including mallards, pintails, wigeons, gadwalls, and teal, offering hunters excellent shooting opportunities. The flat, open landscape makes concealment key, so we set up our well-brushed blinds near the water’s edge.

A guided duck hunt on a Texas Panhandle playa lake is more than just a morning in the blind—it’s an immersive experience in one of the most productive waterfowl regions of the Central Flyway, promising great shooting, expert guidance, and unforgettable memories in the field.
