Not only will you be fishing Alaska's most productive long range fishing grounds, you will be doing it with the company that pioneered the entire region. Saltwater Safari Company maintains its reputation as the charter service that targets big halibut, lingcod, rcokfish, salmon shark and silver and king salmon and enjoys consistent record catches.
Saltwater Safari Company will take you to the outer limits of Seward's richest sport-fishing grounds. Our vessels' range and speed enable us to venture beyond areas exhausted by heavy sport-fishing pressure. Targeted species include halibut, lingcod, rockfish, silver and king salmon
Our trips are typically 10-12 hours long, includes all bait, tackle, rods, and cleaning of the fish at the end of the trip. Limit is 2 halibut, 4 rockfish, 3 salmon, 1 lingcod.
we also have crew on board to help assist and bait your hooks throughout the charter. Our May, June, and September trips are mostly focused on Bottom Fishing for Halibut with the possibility of catching Rockfish aswell , and our July and August trips are focused on Bottom fishing for Halibut but there is the possibility of catching Rockfish, Lingcod, and Salmon during these months
*the rate listed is for the months of MAY and SEPTEMBER. Please add $70 per person for the month of JUNE, or $105 per person for the months of JULY and AUGUST. All taxes and port fees are included in the price*
*This listing is for Thursday's - Monday's. Charters for Halibut fishing aren't permitted on Tuesday's & Wednesday's during the season due to a closure*

Check in for the chater is at our office, 1210 4th Avenue, Seward AK 99664. Make sure everyone in your party has there fishing license before check in, can be purchased online at www.alaska.gov or at most grocery stores or sporting good stores. Bring lunch and beverages (soda, water, beer, and wine are ok, no hard liquor) and rain gear is recommended if rain appears to be in the forecast.
We provide all the tackle and fishing gear you will need, bait, deckhands on board to assist you, and cleaning of your fish at the end of the charter. There is a company in town that does vacuum pack processing and can ship your fish home if needed, we are no affiliated with them.
Unless the marine forcast proves to be unsafe to make the trip possible, all tickets are non refundable.
