Turkey Hunts

This hunt is a great opportunity for anyone looking to harvest a KY Eastern Wild Turkey. Turkey numbers are in an abundance in our area and generally have a lot of success weather pending. We are limited to 15 hunters per year, plus 1 youth hunter. We typically hunt all day on our turkey hunts. We will set up and call, utilizes ground blinds, and later in the season spot and stalk using a fan. All of these methods deem to work well. This hunt does generally require a lot of walking unless you prefer to blind hunt. We can call for you or put you in areas that hold a lot of birds and you can call yourself. The choice is yours, Eastern KY Turkeys make for an exciting and pleasurable hunt!

Free Range Hunts

Buck Creek is home to 5,000 acres of beautiful fair chase property to chase after monster Whitetail & Turkeys. We also hold leases in the surrounding area. This allows us to put our clients in low-pressure zones maximizing opportunities. Typically our hunters will hunt out of box stands, lock-ons, ground blinds, spot & stalk (Turkeys Only), and occasionally climbers. Hunters can expect to move stands every hunt based on the wind, weather, and scouting data to ensure we can give each hunter the highest chance for opportunity. We pride ourselves on allowing our hunters to not only see great qualities of animals but also good quantities to enhance the experience.

*ON ALL HUNTS: If blood is drawn, that is your animal! We will do everything we can to recover the animal, but a wounded animal is counted as a harvested animal recovered or not.*
