Your Experience

Eagles Nest is an A-Frame cottage nestled into the wooded hill-side with a beautiful view of Lake Nettie. It is the largest cottage out of 8 and host up 8 guest. This three-story home has a walk-out basement with 2 sets of full-sized bunk beds, hosts the kitchen and living quarters on the second floor, and a set of bedrooms rests on the 3rd floor. It has a compact kitchen, comes with a 14' aluminum boat, picnic table and of course, your own private dock. A few Adirondack chairs sit around a private fire-pit for you to relax and enjoy the sites and sounds of NettieBay.


Each lake side cottage has a compact, well equipped kitchen. Beds are ready for your arrival with crisp, clean linens.

NettieBay Lodge is a great place to bring the family and enjoy your summer vacation. Although each cottage has their own outdoor fire pit, we offer a large stoned community pit that is the right spot for evening songs and storytelling.


Lake Nettie is a great fishing lake. Specie of fish include pan fish (blue gill, sun fish, rock bass, black crappie), small mouth bass, large mouth bass, northern pike, perch and the occasional walleye. If fly fishing is your passion, enjoy one of the many nearby streams of fish the secluded 23 acre bullhead lake full of large mouth bass and many large sun fish.


Enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing, boating or take a nature hike through 2000 private acres and enjoy wild life viewing. All available to you while staying with us in your lakeside cottage.

Fishing: Great fishing in both summer and winter months. Quiet lake. Well stocked.

Fishing poles: Please bring your own

 

Grill: Charcoal grill. Charcoal can be bought from nearby store or on-site


Grocery Store: 5 miles up the road


Internet: YES! Shared Wi-Fi 


Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. If you are fussy about the thread count of your sheets, just let me know, and I’ll make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillow cases and bath towels.


Parking: Onsite free parking. There is plenty of space for trucks and trailers!

 

Snowmobiles: YES! They are welcomed and encouraged during the winter months! Our main trail is a mile from the Lodge and can be accessed from the Lodge.


Space: There are a total of 8 cabins. Rent one or rent a few.


Towels: Yes, we provide towels. It's always good to bring extra though.


Washer and dryer: There is a washer and dryer on-site. Please bring your own laundry detergents, or feel free to purchase on-site.


Wood: Wood can be purchased at the nearby store, brought by guests, collected from the nearby forests by guests, or bought on-site.  


Animals: Lots of bird watching here, deer of course, and small game (pheasant, turkey, etc.)
