This lodging is located on 175 private acres adjacent to 5,596 acres of BLM land. Located at the base of Sheep mountain in hunting unit GMU 85. This property provides a privately owned connection between two large sections of BLM Land.

GMU 85 offers over-the-counter archery and rifle elk stages, making this Lodge a hunter’s paradise. Along with easy-to-draw tags for other species, you can plan your stay with us and be on the mountain year after year.
A minimum of 2 hunters are required to book. Non Hunting guests can be added for an additional fee. Maximum of nine guests including hunters and nonhunters.

All hunters must possess a hunting license in Colorado. Hunters under the age of 18 may purchase a youth license. Additional licenses, stamps, or permits may be required.
Hunters between the ages of 12-18 may purchase a youth big game license.
Colorado does not offer a hunting license specifically for senior citizens.

Rules of the Camp -
NO SMOKING (including vaping)
We reserve the right to end client’s hunt once blood is drawn or an animal is wounded. Client must do everything in their power to recover wounded game.
To reduce hunting pressure / scent in the ara before you arrive there is no hunting, exploring, or scouting allowed on the day you arrive or depart from the camp
Client will share any pictures of animals harvested with us
ATVs and vehicles must remain on the road between the gate and cabin at all times. They can be taken off-road to assist in the recovery of a downed animal, No exploring, 4-wheeling, or scouting is allowed for ATVs or vehicles anywhere on the property in order to not spook game for other groups. This requirement will be strictly enforced.
Over-The-Counter bear tags are not available in unit 85. However, you can purchase a tag for bear and hunt on the 175 acres of private land owned by the the lodge. This property has a healthy population of large bears so we watch the population closely and depending on the numbers of bears harvested and/or sighted in a given year may impact the availability of this opportunity. Be sure to communicate with us prior to buying a bear tag to ensure this opportunity is available prior to your hunt.
No Pets Allowed on property
No open fires or campfires are allowed on the property
Hunting Rules-
All hunting shall be in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations
All rifle and muzzleloader hunters must wear at least 500 square inches of fluorescent orange on an outer garment above the waist, plus a fluorescent orange hat, while hunting in the State of Colorado. Camouflage fluorescent orange is not legal
Consumption of alcohol, marijuana, or illegal drugs before or during hunt is not permitted.
Weapons must be unloaded while in vehicles and while in camp
All hunting activities must be approved by the lodge
Hunting licenses and hunter safety cards must be on the client’s person at all times while on property.
Always hunt in a safe, lawful, courteous, and ethical manner.
Take ethical shots within a reasonable range.
Leave all gates as they were found.
Rude, disrespectful, or argumentative behavior will result in immediate dismissal.
