Champlain Casting Trips | Vermont

2-4 Guests • No Lodging • Public • Guided

Description

For our Lake Champlain casting trips, the primary focus is on bass and pike; however walleye, pickerel, bowfin, and gar can all be caught on any given day. As with all of our trips, Captain Matt provides all of the tackle and spin casting and fly casting are both opportunities depending on experience level. These trips can take place in a multitude of areas such as Ticonderoga, Crown Point, Ferrisburgh, Malletts Bay and the Grand Isle Region.

Every species of fish has certain times of the year that are prime for catching. Bass and pike can be caught from ice out throughout the summer months, and even into late fall. However, the best time for them is during April/May and September/October.

3rd Alarm Charters lets you fish all of Lake Champlain, from the shallow bays near Ticonderoga up to Grand Isle County, VT. Our trolling trips have you concentrating on the waters from Westport, NY to Charlotte, VT. We can also arrange fishing charters on the lakes and ponds of Western Vermont in Rutland and Addison Counties.

If you're looking for the perfect couple's retreat, take a trip to Vermont's Green Mountains with 3rd Alarm Charters and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Whether it's a vacation getaway or a corporate retreat, the name to know is 3rd Alarm Charters.
