Bowfishing on the Mighty Potomac River! (4 hr trips)

2-6 Guests • No Lodging • Public • Guided

Description

Where else would you rather spend your day than the Mighty Potomac river? Imagine, 4 hours of being on a boat with bow and arrow in hand working to either catch some dinner or catch a trophy.

Providing a safe and productive trip is the #1 priority aboard our F/V boats. We harvest catfish (mainly blues), long-nosed gar, goldfish, carp (grass & common), and the highly elusive and sought-after Snakehead. We use the best and most up-to-date equipment that will ensure your best opportunity in bagging your trophy fish.

Here's what to expect on your outing with USCG-certified Captain Travis:

  • Trips are 4 hours and include up to 6 guests
  • We'll make sure you understand the basics of bowfishing before we take you out to shoot your own fish
  • The mates and captains work endless hours scouting during on and off-season with multiple hours of overhead steered towards the best results
  • Bow and arrow rentals are available, and included with the price (right-handed and left-handed)
  • Shooters (clients) take all their harvest home with them
  • Tips are highly appreciated

Base price is for groups of up to 6 guests for a 4-hour trip.

Rules & Guidelines

  • If you have your own bow, please let the Captain or Owner know before departure of your trip
  • Trips are weather cautious, if the Captain recommends rescheduling on the day of your trip and the party insists on fishing, We are not responsible for "number" of fish seen or harvested. (if weather is too dangerous to fish then there are no exceptions and the boat will not leave the dock!) (deposits will be honored and trips will be rescheduled for either weather related situation)
  • Fish cleaning is not included in the price
  • Bring your own cooler(s) and ice to take your harvest home to enjoy
  • Shooters (clients) must take all their harvest home with them (no fish dumping)
  • Shooters that want to only shoot a certain species of fish understand that there no guarantees that you will get only one species. We will shoot at all 5 species, and try to get the species of choice but no promises!
  • Alcoholic beverages are PROHIBITED. We are using bows and arrows, so any alcohol or drugs in the system before or during the trip is not permitted, and is illegal. The Captain reserves the right to reschedule the trip if clients come having already partaking in usage of drugs or alcohol for safety and legality.
