7-Day Mountain Lion Hunt
Thermopolis, WY
Your Experience
Although we love hunting all other species, our favorite is definitely lion hunting. Raising our dogs, watching them grow, and experiencing them in their element doing what they love is our passion. Wake up early with us in search of a fresh track and then get ready for an adventure as we turn dogs loose in hot pursuit.
We use a combination of vehicles, ATVs, and snowmobiles to locate a track. Once a lion is treed or bayed up you may find yourself hiking through deep snow and steep terrain. It is important to be in good shape as this hunt can be very physically demanding.
We strive to only harvest mature toms to preserve our future resources and to make every hunt a success. With that being said we only take a limited number of clients each year and have a high success rate. All of our lion hunts are fully guide, 7 day hunts. An additional fee is charged for any non-hunter attending.

Rules & Guidelines
We request that our guests arrive after 12 pm the day before their hunt. By arriving a day early, you give us the opportunity and time to perform gear checks. Our goal is to provide you with as much hunting time as possible, so we suggest leaving the day after your final hunting day by 12 pm. If you would like to stay and explore Wyoming more before heading home we can recommend things to do, places to stay, and food to enjoy.
Our guides work hard to provide you with a once in a lifetime hunt and are dedicated to making your hunt successful. In general a tip of 10-15% of your base cost is suggested. If you had an exceptional time and would like to tip more than that, please feel free to do so!
Wyoming requires at least one article of fluorescent orange. There is no minimum square inch requirement. Items such as a vest, hat, or sweater satisfy this requirement. Camo is not required, but strongly encouraged.
Safety is our top priority. With that being said we do not allow drinking alcohol or drug use while hunting or otherwise until all firearms are unloaded and stored for the day. Detection of alcohol and/or drug use while in the field will be considered grounds for dismissal from the hunt. This determination can be made at the sole discretion of the outfitter and without refund to the client. There are no excuses for the compromised safety of yourself, other clients, or guides. Drinking in the evening is allowed in moderation. Alcohol is not supplied.
WYOMING CONSERVATION STAMP & LICENSE FEES*
Out-of-State License: $373
Conservation Stamp: $12.50
PLAN FOR YOUR FUTURE HUNT! Preference points are a way to improve your odds of eventually drawing a license in a hard-to-draw hunt area. We strongly recommend anyone planning to hunt in Wyoming, go online each year and purchase preference points for the species you are wanting to hunt. Preference point purchase period: July 1st - November 2nd.
*Anyone born after January 1, 1966 must carry proof of completing a Hunter Safety course.
Please note, there is a 50% nonrefundable deposit included with your payment when booking.
