This is a great way to get down to business if you are new to Africa hunting and want to get some plains game species under your belt.

  • Impala - Impalas are medium to smaller-sized animals with red-brown fur. Their fur turns lighter brown in color towards their stomach and is white on the bottom of their bellies Males have very prominent and gracious winch-shaped horns. Commonly referred to as the McDonalds of the bush with the three black stripes on the back of their thighs which makes an M-shaped patron. Only males carry horns.

  • Nyala - Nyala are medium-sized animals. They are dark grey to dark brown in color and stand in between the Kudu and Bushbuck according to size. Nyala males have a prominent main from the back of their heads all the way to the end of their backs. They commonly have 8 to 14 white stripes on the sides of their bodies as well as white stains towards the thigh end of the body. Nyalas have long fur across their body with prominent brown legs. They are also part of the four spiral-horned species. Only males carry horns.

  • Springbuck - Springbuck are small antelope species. They have white faces with a brown stripe that goes through the eye down to the corner of their mouths. Both males and females carry horns and these antelopes are also the national animal of South Africa.
