2 Day + 1 Night Backpacking the Ozark Highlands

The Ozark Highland Trail (OHT) runs 270 miles through central Arkansas. It is one of the premier long-distance trails of our region and the nation. This trail is a backpackers paradise with great trailheads every 10 or so miles that allow it to be broken up into many different length options. The trail runs through some of the most rugged and scenic terrain in the region, passing through some of the most iconic spots in our area. Springtime is filled with amazing creeks and rivers and fall has ultimate views of the foliage colors. You cannot go wrong with any section of this trail!

Depending on time of year, we will choose the best (most scenic) sections for our backpacking experience. Your group can choose from a one night or two night trip and anywhere from 10-30 miles for the entire hike. This trip will include all shuttling and fully guided service. It can be completely unassisted (you carry all your own gear), semi-assisted (we carry/provide some supplies) or fully-assisted (we can carry/provide larger supplies and set up camp and provide/cook all meals).
