Description

New Mexico Bear Hunting

Guide Fee Only | Fully Outfitted Hunt

The Hunt

Our black bear hunts will mainly consist of driving throughout the mountain in trucks and UTV's until the dogs strike a bear. Once they strike we will search for the track to determine if it is a bear we want to pursue. Once we find a mature bear we will turn the dogs out and let them do the work.

Lodging

Lodging will consist of hotels, cabins, or canvas tents depending on where we are Hunting.

Season

Our black bear seasons run from August 16-31 and September 25 - November 15.

Base price is per person for the Guide fee only. Make it a fully outfitted hunt hunt for an additional fee per person.

Rules & Guidelines

https://www.wildlife.state.nm.us/hunting/

All hunters must possess a valid license, and permit if applicable, for the species and hunt type in which they will participate and must produce this upon request by a conservation officer. Youth (17 and under) and senior (65 and older) licenses are available.

Before purchasing a game-hunting license, all hunters 17 years of age and younger must obtain a hunter education number issued by New Mexico or another state or possess a New Mexico mentor-youth number.

All hunts require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure dates. If said hunter cannot make the date they can use the deposit towards another hunt during the same season.
