Fiduciary, fee-only financial planner by profession, Patrick is constantly seeking new opportunities to get out of a suit and into the mud by the river, farm pond, or creek.

Raised at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, the outdoors, especially fishing has always been a passion. Patrick loves the pursuit of overlooked fish species in overlooked locations and introducing others to the highly addictive hobby of fly fishing. Working in financial services by day, Patrick has helped many individuals retire to pursue their passions. Patrick launched River King Fishing as a way to get consistent time outdoors now vs. waiting to do it in retirement. That passion and a writing interest has led to teaching fishing and financial planning courses for St. Charles Community College, 2 eBooks, co-founding CARPSTL fishing club, and writing for Carp Angler Magazine for a time as creative side project pursuits. The River King Fishing mission is to help anglers spend time with family, connect with nature, and catch more fish with content promoting fishing guides, travel, art, and the growing sport of Carp fishing in North America.
