Hi, I'm Christine

I've been a member since November 2020

We are a semi-retired, ex-military couple with a country place in the hills of south-central Ohio. Our comfy, clean and cozy shed conversion cabin is a perfect getaway for outdoor activities. We love being able to freely walk outside onto our land to do some recreational target shooting, sit on the porch to enjoy the sounds of nature or take a walk in our woods. We hope to share our getaway with others like hunters that share our love of the outdoors.

We are a semi-retired, ex-military couple who divide our time between our home in Columbus, Ohio and getaways in both south-central Ohio and the lakes region of New Hampshire (where many of our kids and grandkids live). Since we don't stay in one place for long, we share our getaways as short-term rentals but they are not just income properties. They are both places we love and cherish and know our guests do too! I'm a member of A Girl and a Gun club and even completed my first 3-gun completion a few years ago after only my first year of shooting. What a blast!! (pun intended, lol) And I've enjoyed participation in the NWF annual event in northeastern Ohio. I'm a city girl turned country girl in my later years! My husband, Ed, is a loveable, cheerful guy who happily entertains and joins in on all my constant, busy, new endeavors. Pray for him :-) But, what he'd say about himself is that being "Poppi" is his favorite role. Our 14 grandchildren are his greatest joy! The newest member of our empty nest is Whisky, a black and white, 2 years old, high energy, cattle dog mix. He loves traveling in the car so he's the perfect dog for us and gives us someone to spoil!
